Skull Necklace: The macabre bone amulets are carried by Moblins in the Great Sea. Link can steal them or loot them from slain enemies as long as he has a Spoils bag to carry them. Two different collectors of these trinkets offer treasure maps in exchange for Skull necklaces.

The skull of a hawk and ironwood beads, strung on braided horse hair make up this amulet. The hawk fell in defense of its friend and the wood came from the staff of the master who was overcome by the student. The former pupil now wears the charm to never forget those they sacrificed to find the path they now walk.

The Gunslinger by Stephen King is a very good book. One of my favorite things about it is that it isn’t too big, like many of his books are, it is a quick intriguing read or listen and I’d recommend it to anyone who likes a good story.

Knight's Crest: These belts are symbols of courageous knights and are mostly dropped by Darknuts and their armored cousins. Either these crests belonged to the once courageous, now corrupted, Darknuts themselves, or they represent the courageous triumph of beating the evil knights in combat. No matter where they come from, Link can give ten of them to Orca, the blade master, to be taught the Hurricane sword technique.

This sword was commissioned by a man with six fingers on his right hand. the price was agreed upon when the sword was ordered but the six-fingered man offered half of what the blade was worth when he arrived to receive the blade. When the six-fingered man’s insulting offer was refused, he took the sword and slew the smith in front of the smith’s only child, callously ending one life and forever changing another.

Joy Pendant: These necklaces can be found searching in treasure chests and stealing from the pockets of Bokoblins. Link can bring these bright pieces of jewelry to Mrs.Marie, a school teacher on Windfall Island, in exchange for a deed to a private island, a magical charm, and a treasure map. How a school teacher has such fabulous wealth is unclear.

The ceremonial crown of the Shadowed Princess, heir apparent to the Twilight Throne. Due to a schism within the royal family over who should be next in line, no one has worn this crown in an age. What would be able to heal the broken family or who could take advantage of the open spot in the line of succession?

This is one of those drawings that I look at and say, “Who would wear this?” and “When would they wear this?” Sometimes I don’t know a good answer, sometimes the answers drive the design of the item, and sometimes I say that it's magic so however unwieldy, someone would wear it for the buffs.

Also, based on what current runway fashion is, anyone could wear anything if the right person told them to.

Golden Feather: These feathers are dropped by winged monsters that Link slays during his adventures in the Great Sea. As they are spoils of his triumphs, he must have a spoils bag before he can collect the feathers. A Rito will offer a grand if Link is able to provide enough of these feather’s to make an impressive gift for the Rito’s girlfriend.

The down feathers of Phoenix chicks contain a fragment of the phoenix’s revivifying powers. Using this down, one can pull a person back from the edge of death as long as the death was unnatural. Unfortunately, if it is truly their destined death, the down will be useless and the person must pass on.

Summer is on its way out in my neck of the woods. I always grieve the end of summer. I love fall, but with fall comes greater responsibilities and demands.
