Wind Waker: An old bomb

An old bomb 

Bombs: Bombs are always available in the bomb shop on Windfall Island, but they are prohibitively priced. To obtain bombs, Link must beat the second rope challenge aboard the pirate ship. After that, the pirates rob the bomb shop which causes the shop owner to lower their prices to something reasonable. Once Link gets bombs, he can use them to break cracked walls or attack enemies. Link’s ship, The King of Red Lions, fires bombs as cannon balls while sailing the high seas. 

It wasn’t exactly wise to pick up the antique bomb you found discarded in a dungeon. It was especially unwise to light the bomb’s wick just to see if it will even light. Now the only wise thing to do is find a place to have this bomb go off, maybe over there by that cracked wall. It looks weak.

More loot from a storm samurai

Rod of Silent Spells: I can’t think of a great in-world reason why the storm samurai has a rod of silent spells. It was a random loot roll, these things happen.

Fearsome Visage: This highly reflective shield is inhabited by a bound oni that can be commanded to animate the shield in defense of its current master.

Great Armor of the Soaring Heron: The samurai’s ō-yoroi was lost in the cataclysmic explosion that ended the warrior’s life.

#Drewly: Loot from a Storm Samurai

Loot from a Storm Samurai

Oda’s Hat: The samurai rarely needed to keep the sun out of their eyes since they were always being chased by stormy skies.

Lightning Blade: Oda could change the steel of their blade into a bolt of lightning when facing foes worthy of their skill.

Squall: Mighty winds chase the arrows shot from this bow. They are strong enough to knock over even heavily armored foes.

Here are three items dropped by a storm-themed samurai my players defeated at great personal cost.

I will be posting a lot of work from my backlog that I haven’t gotten around to posting for the new art “challenge” Drewly. Drewly rhymes with July, if you say it JOO-lye,  and is for posting art you already have sitting around. It can be unfinished, finished, new, reposts, whatever.
