I'm not an artist: The first six items from Majora’s Mask you could find in the Great Spell War.

The first six items from Majora’s Mask you could find in the Great Spell War.

Ocarina of Time: Link is given the Ocarina of Time by Zelda as he is leaving Hyrule in the prologue of Majora’s Mask. She also teaches him the Song of Time, warning him to play it in times of need. Link's ability to travel in time by playing the Song of Time is the only thing that allows the entire story of Majora’s Mask to take place. Without it, Skullkid would have succeeded in their apocalyptic plan of pulling the moon down from the sky. For continuity purposes, Majora's Mask takes place in the child Link timeline after he is successful in defeating Ganondorf.

Legends tell of a vast store of ancient arcano-technology held in a hidden vault behind a sealed gate that can only be opened after the fabled Horn of Doom is blown. A thousand years of peace were shattered when foolish adventurers sounded the ancient horn without knowing it would warn all the world that the vault would soon open. After the warning, the great powers of the world quickly mobilized their vast forces to ensure they would be the first to find and secure the vault.

Cards: The complete set of items from Ocarina of Time.

Behold, my interpretation of every item from Ocarina of Time. A printable PDF with these items is here.

I really like some of these drawings, particularly the Zora Scale Charm Bracer and the Hand of Gorey. I also really hate some of these drawings, Liz Sherman's face and the whole set of shields spring to mind.

For all of the completed item sets go to the collected tag here.

I feel like I learned a lot working through Ocarina of Time, and I can clearly see that I have lots of room to improve.

Next week we start our journey through the items of Majora's Mask.

Use my work personally however you see fit, but do not profit off my efforts without my consent.

Go out there and be excellent to everyone.

I'm not an artist: The last five items from Ocarina of Time

The last five items from Ocarina of Time an ambitious conjurer would use.

Shard of Agony: The Shard of Agony notifies Link when he is near a hidden chest or an entrance to a secret grotto. Link is rewarded with the Shard by one of the cursed children of House Skulltula after releasing twenty souls from their cursed Golden Skulltula bodies. The Shard replaced the Stone of Agony in the rerelease of Ocarina of Time.

The Wand of Conjuration’s tip is crafted from a crystalline growth harvested from a titanic void leviathan that was old when the gods were young. Having fed on debris from a multitude of worlds, the coral-like diamonds growing out of the leviathan's hide are saturated with planar energies. By channeling their magic through the crystal shard, conjurers are able to summon entities vastly more powerful than their abilities and experience would normally allow. The last three owners of the wand have all died violent deaths after attempting particularly ambitious conjurations.

I'm not an artist: Six items from Ocarina of Time one could find in a strange carnival.

Six items from Ocarina of Time one could find in a strange carnival.

Weird Egg: This egg is given to Link by Malon, the daughter of the ranch owner Talon. She wants Link to incubate the egg so that the newly hatched cucco can wake up her sleepy father.

The Tent of Oddities contains strange and horrific objects gathered from all corners of this world and others. The tour guide is eager to explain that the egg contains one of the thirteen beasts of calamity, and the rune painted on egg holds the creature inside in a delicate stasis. Woe to any that release this monster from its stasis as it would visit untold destruction on the land.
