Fountain Idol: The first statue of our decoration trading sequence is the Fountain Idol. Link must trade a flag for this idol and trades this idol for another flag. In addition to trading for flags, this idol can be placed in a Joyous Pedestal on Windfall Island.
When the world was young the first magic people ever saw was the creation of life by mothers. In that primal moment, the people first witnessed the divine. To honor that holy power, stoneage peoples carved statuettes of the maternal form so that they might always keep the divine close.

This is the Venus of Willendorf, a Stone Age carving of a female form. I make no claims that my interpretation of why the carving was made is accurate, I was just trying to give it some in world lore.
