Five items from Oracle of Ages owned by an herbalist.
Seed Satchel: A few more versions of the seed satchel from last week.
Mishri’s life as a traveling herbalist is a lonely one. To take the edge off of solitary life in the wilderness, Mishri had two satchels enchanted to contain talkative spirits. Mishri is now odder than ever after long months spent only with their luggage.
Ember Seeds: These mystical seeds ignite into a flame when they break open. Link can find them growing on ember trees in the past and present ages. He can use these seeds to light torches, scorch enemies, and burn away plants and mummy wraps. Once Link gets the seed shooter, he can use these seeds as incendiary ammunition.
Mishri’s travels take them through many far-flung lands in search of powerful botanicals. One such plant is the phantom pepper which grows in tropical climates and is used by oracles and diviners to experience visions and commune with spirits. These rare peppers are only effective when they grow wild, so Mishri charges an exorbitant sum for each pepper.
Scent Seed: These hard-shelled seeds contain a fragrant liquid whose aroma is irresistible to the many monsters that prowl Labrynna. When a seed is broken, all the nearby monsters will impulsively rush toward the broken seed, ignoring everything else. Their hard shell makes them dangerous when shot from the seed shooter. Scent seeds only grow on two trees in all of Labrynna. Link planted one on Crescent Island as a sapling in the past age, and the other is in the garden outside of Queen Ambi’s Palace.
Often referred to as nature’s candy, sweet pods are filled with sugary nectar. While not uncommon, these pods are well-loved and bring joy to the common people. Mishri doesn’t earn much from sweet pods but still picks them to make sure people can still enjoy the little things.
Pegasus Seed: These seeds allow Link to dash at great speed like the pegasus boots in other zelda games. When this speed boost is combined with the roc’s feather’s extraordinary jumping skill, Link can jump amazing gaps. The seeds paralyze enemies if shot from the seed shooter. Finding them is a challenge as the seeds only grow on one tree in the Rolling Ridge in the past age.
Maple seeds are used by druids and green sages as a conduit to connect with primal energies during rituals. While by no means rare, many of these ritualists do not have the time to gather the seeds. Mishri often employs local children to avoid the tedious work of gathering these seeds.
