Five things from Oracle of Seasons you can hide the evidence.
Ring box L-1: Holding with the elements theme of this item set, the brief I arrived at for the green ring box was an earth themed container.
As a sign of friendship, and a sound business strategy, Vasu the Jeweler gives Link this small ring box upon their first meeting in his Horon Village shop. The box only holds one ring, limiting Link’s options while out adventuring and forcing Link to stop by the store if he wants to swap the ring he is carrying.
For a thief on the go, a fallen log can be an excellent place to stash your questionably obtained goods. Be wary that others don’t see your hiding spot and always know that a badger may just take up residence atop your payday, forcing you to risk limb if not life to recover the package.
Ring box L-2: Blue ring box meant water themed container. What better for a water themed jewelry container than a clam with a pearl. As a side note, I know pearls are associated with oysters.
If Link visits the lonely Goron living on Mt. Cucco he will be rewarded with the larger ring box. This box has room for three rings giving Link lots of options to choose from in the heat of the moment.
Carnivorous clams have a well deserved reputation for being deadly. Approaching the clam without startling is almost impossible, but you can wrap whatever you need to hide in some meat and the clam will happily consume everything. The authors of this essay have not heard of a universally agreed upon way of retrieving anything back from the clams at this time.
Ring box L-3: This last ring box was red which meant a fire themed container. I could have gone lantern, but there are enough lantern drawings in my future that I went with a real hefty container.
The third and largest ring box is only available to Link in a linked game by passing secrets from Labrynna. The grandmother of Lynna City’s Mayor Plenn asks Link to pass on a secret to Horon Villages Mayor Ruul. After passing the secret, Link is rewarded with a ring box that has room for five different rings.
Furnaces have a way of generally keeping people out which makes them a great place to hide damning evidence. Unfortunately, or fortunately, furnaces also have a habit of being used and destroying any and everything inside with flame. Only consider hiding things in a furnace you’d never want to see again or that are fireproof.

This post was pretty fun to write. I like the idea of a thief flipping through a rolodex of possible hiding locations and then finding the perfect one.
I cannot forget that I drew the furnace while watching Grosse Pointe Blank. There isn’t more to this story. I just wanted you to know how deeply I associate this drawing with John Cussak’s depressed assassin from Michigan.
Making things better takes effort. Be excellent to everyone.
