Moon Glaive: Night wardens in the worship of the moon goddess use these three bladed glaives in their endless crusade for total domination of the night. The most talented of the moon goddess’ army can throw the glaives with deadly accuracy. In addition to their great skill, some are blessed with divine powers to cause thrown glaives to ricochet between enemies and then return.

Boomerang: The boomerang can pick up objects, such as rupees and hearts, from the ground and can be used as a weapon to stun distant enemies. Like all the actively used tools and weapons in Four Swords,the boomerang can be picked up from a pedestal and used only in the round it was acquired. If one of the Links wants to pick up a different tool, they will have to exchange the boomerang for the new tool. 

The use of this massive shuriken is taught by very few ninja clans. Most practitioners find the weapon unwieldy and too difficult to control to be a reliable tool. Those few traditions that have masters these titanic throwing stars are able to use them in close quarters fighting as well as throwing them in such a way as to return to the user like a boomerang.

Thanks for stopping by. The last two weeks have had a lot more eyes than usual on the blog since I posted the collected set of cards for Oracle of Seasons, and I posted the completed Axe Week project. Axe Week was a ton of fun to draw. It was especially nice to get a bit of a break from drawing the Wind Waker cards. I am about two thirds of the way through drawing Wind Waker, and honestly, I have been close to that same marker for a while now. Worry not though, I will keep plugging away at the set until it is done. Until then we will continue through our all color tour of items from Four Swords.

Now is of course the time for my heavy handed announcements. Climate change is very real and is having serious, even deadly, consequences that can be seen right now. The US had its hottest June ever and many cities and states saw their highest temperature records broken in one of the last two heat waves to burn through the Western US. Don’t deny the undeniable, climate change is here and it is going to make life hard. Push governments, corporations, and people to do better for our shared planet.

Also, COVID-19 is becoming a disease of the unvaccinated in the US. Almost all of the hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19 in the US are now among those people who are not vaccinated. Anyone 12 years old or greater can get a vaccine for free in the US that will almost guarantee them to not have a serious case of COVID-19. Other parts of the world would give anything for the opportunity to get vaccinated that so many are choosing to squander in the US.

If you haven’t been vaccinated, go get vaccinated. If you know someone who isn’t getting vaccinated, do what you can to convince them to get vaccinated. We all owe it to each other to get vaccinated and help stop the spread of this serious disease.

There are many ways to do it, but always remember to be excellent to everyone.
